Live fares from hundreds of airlines.

A nonstop flight takes you from origin to destination without landing in between. On US domestic routes this usually saves 30–60 minutes versus one-stop; on international routes it can save 4+ hours.

Nonstop fares are often 10–25% more expensive than one-stop alternatives. For weekend trips and business travel the time savings are usually worth it; for longer vacations where arrival time matters less, a cheaper connecting fare may be the smarter buy.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between 'nonstop' and 'direct'?
Technically they can differ. A 'direct' flight may stop at an intermediate city without you changing planes; a 'nonstop' flight does not stop at all. In modern US usage the terms are often interchangeable, when in doubt, look for 'nonstop' explicitly.
Is nonstop always safer?
Modern commercial aviation is extraordinarily safe regardless of stop count. The practical risk nonstop reduces is missed-connection risk, weather, ATC delays, and tight connections cause most disruption. Fewer segments = fewer chances to miss one.
